Poppyscotland, the charity for ex-servicemen and women in Scotland, are honoured to bring Everyman Remembered to Who Do You Think You Are Live in Glasgow.
Losses were felt in almost every town and village: 1,117,077 Commonwealth Servicemen and women lost their lives at sea, on land and in the air and, indeed, at home between 1914 and 1918. Now, this UK-wide campaign has been launched with the aim to commemorate over one million men and women from across the Commonwealth who fell in that war.
In conjunction with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Everyman Remembered is a chance for the public to take part in a truly historic and incredibly significant act of remembrance while at the same time supporting Poppyscotland’s vital work with today’s veterans.
